Need Help quick!!

I have a 98 camaro and i had found a pair of slp headers and catted y pipe for sale for a good price but the thing is they are off a 2002 camaro. Is there anyway these headers will work on my car with out elimnating the air pump. I'm trying to keep the car legal and i dont know if i can do that with these headers.

No. If your car has an air pump and the headers have no provision for it, then no you cannot do that. Anyway, SLP headers suck (from what I have read and heard) for ground clearance. You can't even put long tube headers legally on an F-body in Jersey anyway can you? And a catted y-pipe will move the location of the stock catalytic convertors, so that is illegal in that state also?

Pretty sure long tube headers are 50 states illegal. So with or without the AIR your done for. lol
