I have a 99 Formula
in which I believe the headlight module has gone bad
when I turn off my headlights the motor on the passenger side tends to run for about 6 or 8 secs after the light is already down

-I also have a ton of parts from my old 1995 Trans Am which I wrecked in the rain, I parted out the engine, trans, body panels etc...
(since the car only had 60k after 8 years)

but to get to my question
can the headlight module from my 95 be used in my 99?

same for the motors (actuators)?

and if I still wrong about the problem any other ideas?

I have tried looking up the part numbers but all I have found where prices at parts.com

I hope this was the correct place to post?

Yes it can be used on the drivers side. I used one from a 95 formula I got. You will have to cut the coonnections and splice them. Also the shaft on the headlight motor will be a little longer. So that being said you will have to bend the arm towards the stop when it goes closed. If I was you I would just go to www.projecttransam.com and go to the gear fix. I would just flip my gear. I wouldnt buy a new one.

Its not the module. Its a stripped gear. I have had the same problem.

cool I plan to fix the motor or buy one from P&G, but I guess I am still interested to know if the module from the 95 will work in the 99?
