well back in february, this guy i go to school with took out another loan and bought an '04 sti bone stock with 12k miles. last month he damn near totaled it by trying to "drift" around a corner and slammed into an 8 inch curb completly ripping his drivers front suspension all to hell:lol: well insurance payed for it and he just got it back on tuesday and he has always wanted to race me, we just never had the chance, untill today...

we got on the highway and first went from a 75 roll. he hit it first and by 110 or so i had 1.5 cars on him. then we slowed to a 55 roll and by 100 or so i had about 2 cars on him. we pull over and he says "not bad for stock" i was like okay:dot: i am down 21% at least on power due to the plain and simple fact that we are up 7200ft in elevation and you still have a turbo to make up for it. o well it was fun to stuff his ego back down:nana:

STI's maybe fast with a few mods but they ugly as hell I would never pay 30 grand for a four door car that had a huge whale tale on it with a fart exaust, you could'nt pay me, i'm not saying they cant be fast but ICK

Agreed. It takes a ton of money to make those cars fast, and they are ugly as hell.

Turbo cars suffer from elevation too my friend. Maybe not as much as N/A guys, but they suffer.

My friend's got a solid low 11 second evo that barely squeeks out high 11s in colorado.

Wow, elevation kills us :(

I ran an EVO8 and from 70-120 had about 5 cars on it. STI's are a hair faster. GOOD KILL!

Yes obviously I've lost, I've been running around with an 11 second car for the past 2 years loving life. I've most definitely lost.

I've owned 2 Camaros, and I've gotten 100x the "Nice car" with the Evolution then I ever did with either of the Camaros.

I'm not trolling in the least, I'm sorry that you feel that way.

Eh, I am not really much of an F-body fanboy, so don't take this the wrong way, but while they are well-built and comfy and handle AWESOME, the EVO just doesn't have much in the way of looks man. Then again, maybe "nice car" was in reference to other aspects than it's lack of aesthetic appeal. JMHO

Raced an evo coming from the drags tonight, did nothing but pull away from him everytime, starting from a dig is different but top end always kicked his ass. Also raced two 80's style supras (we ran into each other at once) at 60 they got the jump but by 80 an onward a walk in the park, I have never gotten so much action in one night.

There are plenty of nice Euro cars out there. But I've never seen a Jap car that deserved any of my respect, they are exactly the opposite of what I look for in a "nice" car.

IDK about you, but I don't have to respect any japanese automobile. I have little to no respect for them, as most of them feel the same way about our cars.

I don't. I love American Muscle, Euro Cars and Japanese. I don't have much respect for the Korean cars though.
