DIC error code P1416

Hi Everyone,
I'm new to this forum and excited about engaging with other LS1 owners.
I have a '01 coupe and I have been throwing a P1416 code for a few weeks now. I understand that it is the right side AIR valve.

My question is, how difficult is the valve to replace, (what is the proceedure) and how expensive is it. I can see the pipe/flange where it connects to the exhaust manifold, but I am not an experienced mechanic.

Is this something I could handle myself, or should I go to the dealer (I have not had good experiences with dealers with my past Corvettes).

It's on the air pipe coming of the exhaust manifold. It's where the rubber hose transitions into the metal pipe. Pretty easy to swap out. Most parts stores carry them.
