Post some pics. Man, I would like to have a TB SS, only I'd want RWD. I've only seen one on the street and they look sweet. None of the dealers have one to even drive :(

The TB was already my favorite SUV before they decided to pack it right!! Its the only "true to the heritage" SS that Chevy's got left, despite the fact that it is a truck!!!!

Congrats and do post pics!!!!!

It would be a good race, what does a lightning run in the quarter? According to my most recent Car and Driver the TB hits 60 in 5.5 and the quarter in a 13.2:Popcorn:

Scratch that- the quarter for the TB was a 14.1, I looked at the jeep srt-8 and it had the 13.2 quarter

In that case I am in between the TB and SRT - 8

Whoaaa easy there.....must we always resort to violence?!?! Can't we all get along?!?!

I guess I'm not much of a truck fan huh?!? To be honest, I was referring to an 'ss badge being on a truck, since (not counting the elcamino, which was called a pick-up, but based on a car's frame) regular truck bodies with Chevy weren't given this treatment; at least until 1990-'91 with the 'ss454, a sweet vehicle indeed..............Even if it was A TRUCK HA THERE!!!:Ohno:

I just picked up a TB SS on Wednesday, its awsome. Only downside to it is that my brother and I have to sell our '97 3000GT VR-4. For a truck, its pretty quick especially since its a lot lighter than what I've driven. My parents own a Ford Exursion and we bolted on a Edelbrock TB and and K&N FIPK.

Go check out TBSS.com. The TBSS's are pulling 13.9-14.2 stock and 13.3-13.5 with a tune and K&N.

Congrats! We got ours on Tuesday and I love it! It only has 111miles so Im being as easy as possible but it is so hard not to lay into it. Its a silver LS AWD. Kept the options down so it would be lighter=faster:burnout: .

Have fun with it. I plan on doing the Vector tune which has netted mid-low 13's and their Cold Air intake when they release it. Sorry to hijack the thread but Im excited too!

are they still planning on putting the LS2 in the canyon/colorado? I like the idea of the TBSS, but i'd much rather have a compact truck. What's the towing capacity on a TBSS?

Check out trailvoy.com for info on the vector tune.

Towing depends on 2wd or awd, anywhere from 6600-6800lbs.
