View Full Version : Tune for rear O2s???
Is it possible for a feller to tune the rear O2s to where you can run LTs and cats without throwing a code??? I'd like to run a set into a catted Y just to keep the car actually(almost) legal, but still know if there was ever a problem with either of the cats.

Yes. HPTuners will do it, DHP will do it. I imagine LS1Edit would too.
I have HPT and there you can turn off the error report or the SES light or both.
Cool.
Now, is there a way to adjust the signal to the rear O2s to where you wouldn't have to turn anything off... as in, tuning the O2s to allow for headers, yet still throw a code if the cats get plugged???

You can set the limits of the o2 switching to allow for slower transitions and not be so picky to set the code, but that seems like a waste considering that they are purely for emissions only and not performance and if you have a cat or not doesnt make a difference if you have rear o2s or not...
