ok i have an ipod and i love it, only thing is i have th fm transmitter and it sucks, the quality is terrible and i have to max out the volume to even hear the songs. so i want to hardwire my ipod directly into my stock head unit. here lies the problem, ive checked every local store, bestbuy, sound advice, circuit city.....etc...and none of them make a kit that allows me to do this. ive heard theres a way to modify your stock head unit to make it fit, has anyone done this?? if this isnt possible, whats a good head unit that is ipod ready, preferably under 200 bucks, its a christmas present from my girlfriend and she doesnt make that much money. i would also like to keep the use of my stock 12 cd changer. thnx for the help.
