Blew the doors off a 350z

I was cruising last night looking for something to get into. It was pretty dead, mostly cops and ricers running around and I wasnt in a mood to mess with either. Well I hit 340 to come home and im setting at the 2nd to last light before you get out of town (convientantly enough)and a 350Z pulls in behind me. I didnt know what to expect or if the guy would even try to screw with me so I turned the happy gas on. The light goes green and he switches lanes and gets along side me. The next light caught us both and he throws me a rev. I purged and he reved again. The light didnt take long and when it went green we both hit it. He beat me off the line because I spun, but when i hooked up i started pulling on him. I got to about his door and hit the juice. I pulled about 3 on him and we both shut down. Well i thought he was done but he gets up along side me again and honks 3 times...i figured why the hell not... we were going about 65 and i hit it. Pulled on him again but this time he turned off before i even shut down. Good race, i imagine it was a normally aspirated one (or are they all turbo?)...at any rate... fun run

Nah no turbos there they are NA 6 bangers, think they were rated at 270 or 287 hp, someone can correct me on that. Seems like they are low to mid 14 second cars, I've seen one post where a guy got a 13.7 out of one stock. Good kill!

350z are nothing to worry about, you could of pulled him w/o the juice.

So far I have raced three of them and it wasnt even close.
Nissan does build quality vehicles, but to me the 350z is just an overpriced porsche wannaby.

Yeah, they're 3.5 V6s. Hurley was right, they're rated at 287. Nice race, wonderful to know they're not really competition. (From the guy that WANTS the camaro and his fastest car is the 3.5 Altima... LOL)

I smoked enough of them when I only had a lid. They arent fast, they look cool though and handle pretty good.
