Is this safe?

Is it safe to put gas container in your turnk? Those little 5 gallons of gas for just incase you run out of gas?

Oops realize I spelt "trunk" wrong. Ok, thanx. Would it be safe to put it in the back seat? Well, the reason is because I'll be driving to Texas, and just afraid that I might get lost or something and atleast I would have some spare gas with me.

It is the fumes man.....they build up in an compartment....fumes are highly volatile....don't do it....and if you do....drive way around San Antonio OK:)

Sounds good to me, I'll stay as far away from San Antonio for you, and when you hear about a car exploding, that's me!! Hahaa, just kidding. All right, I won't be bringing gas along. :)
