After grabbing some breakfast, I merged onto I-40 and there was a purple bimmer already in traffic. I merge into traffic swiftly. I was not going to mess with this BMW b/c it reaked of stockness. Plus, you never know with a car like that. Could be some old geezer who would rather be seen not heard.

Anyway, all of sudden he punches it, cuts me off, then flies one lane to the right for open road and takes off. You SOB! You had to ask for it didn't ya?

So throw it in fourth and reel him in, I caught him so fast I almost rear ended the car. He is still trying to get away, so I play around with him, I couldn't go left or right anyway. I lay on it 4th, pull to his bumper, then left off, give him two cars, then do it again, and again...

Finally there was an opening on the right and I slingshot around him and put him in the mirror a good piece. I got off two exits down and didn't see him again. The next stop light I practiced taking off without making the rear tires go up in smoke, then cruised on home.

I love how an LS1 done right can make even the shortest trip exciting.:yup:

Oh man, I took out everything that wasn't involved in stop or go. Altogether about 200-300 lbs I think. She sure is light on her feet now. The only time I get tire squeal is when I punch it.

Noticed the 13" brembro's in your sig those work on stock 17x9's ? been thinking of some brake upgrades.

Sweet Kill!

I got 18's all around. They work good. Bought a 13" conversion kit, Z06 calipers and brake pads, ACDelco drilled/slotted rotors. The front Delco rotors didn't last long before they overheated to the point of cracking. That is when I went to Brembo and they recommended the drilled for street applications and durability. They have worked awesome so far, no problems.
