First Kill in my 02 SS

I got this 02 SS Camaro last friday and this morning on my way to work this nice Nissan 350z runs up my butt therefore I turned onto the long straight road to work and he gives chase and is right on my 6,,,, I pull her down into low and away we go,The 350z ran ok but it did not take long for the V-8 to walk on him. I pull steadily ahead and shut down at 110 turn into work. H:flex:e pulls in and I find out he is a contractor at my job. Young kid and he comes up to me and says yeah those V-8s are fast and those SS camaros run good as he has been bitten before by some. He says he is going to get a turbo. Had a smile on my face all day cuz if he had pulled me I know I would have broken out the wrenches tonight and been looking for some more Horsepower.

Well If I need to bust out the wrenches to smoke a turboed rice rocket I will bolt on some dope and whatever it takes to roll on those nissans etc.etc.etc and I cannot wait to get a Mulestang GT in my crosshairs and smoke that overhead cam non running thing. friends own them and I have driven them and I aint impressed,, The Cobra is a different story but it does have a power adder ALA==BLOWER on the dammmm thing .,,,It ought to run. I am a BOWTIE guy and always have been. :nana:

a friend of mine just got a 350z, nice cars fun to drive, they handle well. But on a straight away they are that great. I was messing around and slamming soem gears and when i would shift into 2nd hard that rear end would just hop because of the IRS. And its only putting down 220-230trq to the wheels. It really slows down the accel if you shift that hard. Def not a straight line car.

Even my legacy takes those on straights
