hi guys, im thinking of purchasing the harris speed works v6 dry kit for my 01 v6 camaro, M5. i have intake and exhaust, and plan on getting colder plugs when i do this. my questions are it doesnt come with a fps switch or a rpm window switch, so are these absoultly needed? also is it ok to spray a dry shot across the maf sensor or do i need to get a throttle body spacer that is tapped for nitrous. thanks for the help in advance, forrest

I would highly suggest the window switch and FPSS. You'll be fine spraying across the MAF, let us know if you have any other questions.

Thanks,
Matta

I had the nitrous express Wet Kit on my 2000 Camaro V6. It came with the FPSS. Then I bought the MSD Window Switch which is definately worth it.

I would spray post MAF, just drill and tap the TB. -Tim

It turns the nitrous kit on and off at a user set RPM settings. So let's say you set it to turn on at 3000 RPM and off at 6400 RPM. When the nitrous system is armed the kit will activate at 3000 RPM and then turn off at 6400 RPM. Look at it as a safety device, it won't allow you to spray too low in the RPM band or too high. Hitting the rev limiter while spraying is not healthy lol.

thank god someone supported me on that... i was getting worried about you guys... and seriously.... DON'T put a dry kit on after the MAF... it will lean your motor out severely and blow it up...
