whats a good but inexpensive transmission

Well, My transmission is gone! Yesterday I didnt have 3rd and 4th gear (a4) and today, It wont go into reverse :hifinger: Im pissed! Would it be cheaper to have them take the tranny from my other car and put it in this one, or buy a new/rebuilt transmission?

Cheaper to swap if the other one is in good working order. Rebuild would cost $700-1000 range.

check out performabuilts website. . . low mileage used one could be a possibility and may not cost ya that much but you still don't know what your gettin

well, I just had them swap the one from my black trans am
They took both out and put both back in and towed it there and back for 1,171.00
