I am planning my car out and buying parts slowly so I can put it together after I get home from a business trip. What I was wondering was would it be better to go with the BBK 85 or stay with my LS6 Intake? I would go fast 90, but I don't think it will work for my application and I just don't want to pay 800 bucks for it. So I wanted to hear some one elses opinion on the matter? I am going to upgrade to ported LS6 Heads in the future.

Depending on what your mods are and your future mods are going to be should answer your question for ya. What are you ultimate goals? The ls6 intake will take alot of abuse and can handle a handful of Hp.

why not a Fast 90? Not much that those ported heads will be working with that the FASt setup won't work with as well. If it's the boost nonsense, I have video of one running 17psi on a dyno problem free; and it's still on the car (urban legend that they break un der boost). I hate that BBK intake. Half of them seem to seal poorly, and I really can't see that they are doing much for ya power wise that an ls6 won't do.
Stick with your stock LS6 intake. It will give you your best all around performance unless your car is heavy on the mods.

I tuned a 224 with LTs and ORY a few weeks back that picked up 24rwhp with a Fast90/90! The car went from 377 tuned to 401rwhp tuned (M6, 10-bolt, DJ224)
