PS Delete?

Has anybody deleted their power steering pump, and if so do i have to change any pulleys and what belt size do I use? Any help would be greatly apprieciated.

Why would you wanna do that? Take the a/c out before the power steering...it's going to suck turning the wheel everyday.

I'm used to it by now. my chevelle aint got it. anyways, my pump blew and i can feel the road better without it. its hot in cali, and i like the ac.

I didn't completely remove mine, but used a shorter belt at the track. I didn't change pulleys or anything. If you wanted to remove it altogether you should probably look into buying a manual rack.

did your shorter belt bypass the ps pump? what size was the belt?
