how hard is a poly motor mount install on a 2001 trans am?

Not easy.

The passenger side is really not any fun.

Yes it's a PITA,
Driver side took me 5 Hrs.

My big problem was getting everything to line up again. Had to use an air hammer to drive in the long through bolt on the passenger side. Just couldn't get it to line up and go with a jack and pry bar.

PITA but worth it in the long run.

If you are taking the engine out of the frame, just do it. You will have a little more vibration, but they work. Just putting them in by themselves is probably more trouble than its worth.
