whoa..ok, i'm gonna try my best to figure out what you said.
You have a manual LS1. You spin on launches and grind gears while racing?
OK, don't rev up so high on launch. Get it up to about 1200-1500 and then drop the hammer. That should chirp the tires and get you moving forward. After about a half a second you should have the car in solid motion; go wide-open throttle.
sometimes it helps to heat up the tires prior to a launch by doing a big ole burnout.
Shift when you hit the rev limiter (6000) or:
1st-2nd: 40mph
2nd-3rd: 70mph
3rd-4th: 95 mph
4th-5th: 120mph
when shifting, make sure you got that pedal all the way to the ground. if you have a high milaged 99, you could have a fried slave cylinder [the 01-02 transmissions/clutches/slaves were sooo much better] Do you grind when driving under normal conditions?

No not at all, just when im on it hard. i think when i take off and go for a gear its clutch in to the floor then by the time the shifter is in the middle my foot is off alittle. Then I go 4 it and it grinds its happend afew times and some times its all smooth.thanks 4 the mileage break down :burnout:

yeah, sounds like the issue is your pushing forward on the clutch, while the acceleration is pushing you back...sucks for short dudes [self included]
