What does a typical shop charge to install a fuel pump?

Quite a lot, cut a hole in your trunk and do it yourself. Of course if the shop did this, it wouldn't cost as much, but I doubt you'd be able to find one that would do it.

no.. i dont wanna cut the whole in the trunk thats the whole thing... i can do it myself, im just curious how much money it would be just to have someone else do it. If its 200 or so id rather just have someone do it then spending the day doin it myself.. but if were talkin like 500+ to drop the tank and change it then ill just do it myself.....

I was not happy paying that much and I dont want to cut into my Camaro, so i paid the price!
