ls6 intake

ok so i can buy an ls6 intake off of my buddys z06 or off my bros 2002 camaro ss for $300. what do i need to install it ,and do u think its worth it ? how much more hp ? thanx :think:

Its worth it, expect to gain 10-15 RWHP all in the upper RPMs.

with cam and heads the 90/90 is a lot better. On a mildly modded car the 90 might be to big for it

Have an extra oil pressure sending unit available just incase you break your old one. Hell, while you have that intake waiting to be installed you can paint it.

you'll need a ls6 coolant crossover, since the intake wont clear the stock, or you can grind the tabs off the bottom

I'm still waiting to put mine on. I think im just going to grind the tabs off too. What are you going to use to grind them off?

my buddy is gonna help me with it and he said he's gonna use his side cutters

The plastic grid on the bottom, need to be ground down to clear the ls1 coolant crossover
