Ok, I just installed 160* thermostat, magnaflow cat back, removed stock exhaust mainifolds and y pipe, and am in the process of installing poly motor mounts (pass side complete) I will begin drivers side mount tomorrow. LT's (jet Hot) and TSP catted Y will be here Monday/Tues. My 1st question is, now that I have all this stuff off the car is there anything you guys/gals would suggest I do before I install the headers? 2nd should I use a new header gasket or re-use the stock gaskets (I have seen posts that some of you are reusing the originals)? I'm replacing the plugs and wires since the car has 84,000 and still has the original plugs and wires. I am also installing ported/polished stock TB, Fast toys Ram air, SLP air box lid and smooth bellows. I am guessing I will need a tune also any suggestions on tuner would be appreciated, I am thinking of Mad tuner, or PCM for Less. I live in Mt. Holly NJ, if anyone know of someone local. Sorry for the long post.

I would buy some new GM gaskets since yours have 84k miles on them, new ones run about $30.

I would suggest a 10mm rachet wrench... Not totally necessary but comes in handy when trying to get in those hard to reach places. Also if you're reusing the stock manifold bolts soak them in pb blaster or WD40 the night before.
