TA also offers a stud kit to help stop bearing walk.
I would go with the Ta cover pesonaly

I like the LPW. Comes with a magnetic drain plug. The TA Girdle I had on my old 10 bolt did not.

Neither.
Put that money into a rearend worth a damn.

Otherwise, the TA girdle is nice. So is the LPW.

Yeah Luos is right. The girdle alone is really just an appearance mod. Throwing money in a stock rear is pointless.

I agree with that. My LPW is on a 12 bolt. I wouldn't put the money into a 10 bolt.

i have the ta and it is nice
in my opinion the extra oil capacity and the bearing support is worth it to help maintain an already weak link

i run the TA, its nice.

if your not going for another rear, its not a bad investment.

I was thinking about this for my car too I wasn`t shure wether to go with the SLP unit or the T/A , don`t have enough dough for a new rear so look`s like it`s gonna be the T/A cover for now .

i have a mac and it works fine u wont have any where to bolt the e break cable on. with mac or t/a but i got the t/a studs kit. thay are ARP studs and the stock tq is only 55 ft lbs i have mine at 70 but my cars not a drag car ive only got a 12.97 on street tires and then broke my axle and replace them with a set of moser's from summit,,, the weekest link in the drive tran is the clutch then the axles if u want to race at the drag strip look in to geting axles even if ur running street tires

I'm saving up for a moser 12 bolt.. But it's hard to fund two projects... my T/A is my daily car and I have been working on the engine that is going into my 1984 fiero (2500 pound car).. I got a pretty built supercharged 3800 that I have been working on, hopefully 340rwhp in a 2500 pound car

Installed the the cover at the shope today went well .

- The aftermarket cover does not have a magent on it like the factory`s
- Had to zip tie the brake cables to the axel
- The bolts that come with the kit are a little to short so only used the locking washers that came with the kit.
- Rear end whine is allot less noticeable .
