I've done this to both of ours. My wifes car has been done for many years.
I didn't notice anything as far as performance but in my opinion,,,,anytime you can keep heat away from anything that has to do with the fuel system it's a good thing :yup:

Since you've already done it keep it there, never bothered doing it on my car - no gains IMO.

I saw this dyno, but dont know how accurate it is anyways...And its hard to believe a 6hp gain and 7lbs torque gain.

im sure they have this there because they want the product to sell...lol BMR has it for 16$, got all the stuff at shucks for $5, I'm sure it helps with colder air flow, but hp gains, I dont think there will be any.

I never did it for any HP gain. I did it because heat and fuel don't mix well. Especially with todays pump gas that has such a weak flash point.
Anytime you can isolate heat from anything that has to do with fuel it's an improvement.
In the case of these 4th gens, you are keeping the throttle body cooler which in turn doesn't heat up the air coming in so much, and everyone knows cooler air is denser air and more HP is produced. But it takes 10 degrees to make 1% increase in HP (I think thats the ratio)
But every little bit helps.
