i have heard they dont hold very well after a rebuild? True or false
would replaceing it with a new one be better?
What would i need to rebuild it?:ahh:
What would be involved in switching to a manual? Is it worth it?

For the stall it is really up to how you want it to drive, probably anywhere between 3000 and 3500 would be good.
The tranny cooler i just went for the biggest one that i could find, this is the one i bought http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&viewitem=&item=320154530250 and i have been happy with it.

Cam will come with asap but in the mean time...I want to go ahead in install a stall while I am switching trans. I want to get a tci but not sure on size? Keep in mind I dont have much to spend so possibly a used you w/ low mileage. Not sure when I would have time / money for tune either? Suggestions?!

tried one 4l60e never do another! but they are guys on here that can do it.
a new one would have a warranty, Yes a manual would be worth it IMO.

3200 Fuddle Brand - ohh - that's what I have for sale --- -- Kidding - I would go with what John said - his recomendation for me was spot on - If he says 3400 with a 2.1 sti rating that is what I would go with.Just my thoughts.

he said 3400/201 but i never had one and i dont want something to big for the time being since cam is in future and I not sure on brand. I have heard some really bad things on some but then really great thing too...just not sure???

Call him back and tell him what you are doing with the car.Dailey driver, street friendly or just what.It does take a little to get used to a stall, but the over all performance - seat of the pants feel - is worth it.

i did...he suggest 3400/2.1 i just not sure on other brands ... best bang for buck kinda thing. I am leaning towards fuddle bc of their warranty.

mghawk57
03-13-2008, 11:36 AM
The 1st one it took 1 week to have it built and shipped - I am in Montana - he is in Salt Lake City - The 2nd one was 3 weeks - A mix up in the build specs - Not talking to Jon directly.Great all around service.

what did you start with and why you change?
mghawk57
03-13-2008, 12:40 PM
I went with Johns recommendations and only switched because building a 402 stroker motor with 12 psi of Procharger boost.More horse power is addictive. This one is the same stall just will hold more hp.
