i found a 2600 stall converter locally for $100. it only has 50 miles on it. is it really worth putting in tho? i see most people on here have around a 3500 stall converter.

Go with a 3200, there is about 23 pounds of less weight to spin , so yes its worth it.

Go big or go home. IMHO, installing a converter is a PITA and I would START at 3500 and go from there. I have an SS3800 now and will eventually go to a 4400. 2600 isn't worth it, IMHO.

4400 seems kindda high with a motor that red lines at 6k.

Actually anything is better than the stock one. Less weight to turn.

Yes, 3500 makes a very good stall for a daily.

I had a TT 2800 and it felt like stock. IMHO, start at 3600 at LEAST.

I went to a PT4000 and I couldn;t have been happier, wish I woulda went there or higher from the beginning.

I would not go to the trouble if its not a 10 inch or 9.5 inch converter. IMO anything over 2500 with a stock diameter converter is very inefficent and a heat generator .I would go min 9.5 inch 2800 stall or more
