ok so my 2nd gear is really screwed up. when i drive normal it takes like 2 seconds for it to shift from 1st to 2nd. and when im on it, the rpms shoot straight up.... it doesnt catch 2nd at all... it catches 3rd but not 2nd.. anyone know what could be the problem?

Yes it means the band that makes 2nd is worn out and the trans has to come out and be disassembled. Unless its low milage it would be silly to just replace the band. Alternatly you could just get a repacement performance tran. Please look at what we have to offer. Thanks
