Hey,

I have stock rotors and I wanted to buy a full package of FR and RR rotors for my camaro, do i have to get a new brake system too or can I add them to my car even though its stock? I asked a mechanic and he told me that if I were to add sloted/drilled rotors then it would be more expensive to maintain and keep???Is this true?? Please email me at selacosta@yahoo.com....

Thanks,

Selina

I have slotted rotors on the back with good pads and I have had no problems. As long as it is factory replacement you shouldn't have any problems.

ya baer eradispeed are a stock replacement. but if you do high speed runs and break hard you might want to look into getting just slotted rotors.

i had my slotted/drilled on the front of my car for 2 months did afew high speed runs and had the front rotors start to crack at the drill slots but the back ones never cracked so i went fith brembo slotted on the front and have yet to have a problem with rotors since then
