Hi,
I just received a new ring and pinion set.
The brand should be Yukon but looking at the design it's probably a Richmond.
However...
It should be a 3.42 set for a series 2 carrier = thick ring.
The set wasn't in the original box and there is no parts numbers.
Is there a way to be sure it's a thick ring?
The ratio is OK (12 x 41 teethes).
The distance between the flat surface of the ring and the outer edge of the teethes is 31 mm or 1.22 inches. Does it help?
There is a "64" stamped on ring + pinoin (?)
Do you still have your stock 3.42 series 3 gears? Could you please post a pic of the ring? maybe it helps to understand.
here a pic of mine with a pinion bolt and a new crush sleeve to compare.
Thanks!
