I was thinking of doing the exact same thing to my car except going through WS6store and buying everything separately. Hopefully the 10 bolt won't blow up. I say go for it, and I'll do the same!! Results may vary???!!!?:slash:

It's a toss up between SLP, Motive or Richmond.... All are around the same price.

My Motive gears whine like a whore that didn't get paid during both cruise and decel.
I've heard good thing's about Richmond from a couple of friends.
Since I burned out the posi (POS Auburn) last Friday at the track I'm gonna go with either Richmond or GM gears when I replace it.

i've got some motives at home waiting for spring... I hope they don't whine!!
My buddy had his 4.10's put in by a shop that said to bring the car back if anything whines. hopefully that can work out for me too

I was opting for the Richmonds anyway. I believe Motive's were the cheapest on the list. The SLP's were expensive as hell!!!!

The Motives will be fine for anything you can put through those weak axles!
And the comment on whining the gear itself has NOTHING to do with that. Whining comes from not being installed properly.
Weather they whine under a load or on coast determines what is wrong.
Save the extra $30 for a bottle fill.
