I want to strengthen my rearend to put more power to the ground
Help the novice out what should i do what should i get

If I understand you correctly, you are asking what you can do to strengthen the stock 10-bolt?

About all you can do is use studs in place of the bolts for the main caps, add an aftermarket aluminum girdle style rear end cover that incorporates thrust bolts to keep the main caps from walking and possibly swap out your stock Zexel Torsen Diff (if that's what you have) for the HD version (SLP used to carry these, but I don't know if they have them available anymore) The diff swap out was one of the normal operations performed by SLP when they did their conversions.

When I changed over from 3.42's to 3.73's I did all of the above, plus made sure to use only high quality diff bearings and axle bearings made in USA. Gears I used were also the genuine GM gears - to prevent whine - some of the aftermarket gears sets whine no matter how they are set-up. The GM gears don't have this problem (unless your installer has no idea what he's doing). I also have a Yank PY3600E verter with chromolly DS/Spicer U-Joints.

My stock 10-bolt is still alive and well with the above mods and the #'s in my sig. However, I don't race the car regularly (at the track at least :) ), and have only ever ran 315/35-17 street tires = not much traction at initial WOT = not as much shock to drivetrain.
