ATI Blower tube connection?

I am not sure what to call this... It is the plastic piece that mounts to supercharger unit where the air flow is directly forced (right before the K&N filter attaches). The clamps do no seem to hold this plastic piece tight. So, basically I just get it in the best position posible, tighten it and stuff a rag in between the plastic piece and the back of the radiater support. Does anyone else have a similar problem or a solution??

Yes it is the hat. It is really hard to get in the right position and it just doesn't seem to stay tight. Any suggestions?

I had difficutly with that as well, it is hard to push the hat on without any leverage due to the space.

I ended up unbolting the Procharger from the bracket (via the allen head bolts), drop it down to where there are no obstructions on placing the hat directly over the blower, then shove that hat on squared up. It was extra work but it ensured a good fit.
