Help With DTC PO420

While Driving my girlfriends car today, thew CK engine light came on I took it home and used my handy OBII scanner and found this DTC PO420 just wondering if anyone one on this site has has the same fault or could help thanks a bunch I think the fault is for A Cat Bank 1 Problem

Sometimes aftermarket Converters will throw that code. If you live in a non-emmisions testing state, I would remove the converter and use a Caspers O2 Simulator. It will not affect performance unless it has a Good Luck -Tim
