Is it normal for A4 to shift hard in normal driving? Whenever my car shifts into 2nd it shifts very hard and it feels like getting bumped from behind. Shouldn't it shift smoothly?

When the motor is cold it'll usually be a little firmer shift....could also be a servo goin out.

Mine shifts hard, but it has a rebuild. It can bark in 2nd and 3rd gear.
