alright this kid is trying to tell me that his 94 cobra puts out 360hp. his performance upgrades are as follows....

650 edelbrock carburetor
super 40 flowmasters
off road Hi pipe
MSD package
Headers
Steede shifter (short throw)
T5 355 Transmission
King Cobra Clutch
616 cam
616 lifters

the cobra puts out about 240 stock i think. what do you guys think he is really putting out. or if you know how much each of these parts help him that would be nice.

what the hell is 616 lifters and what is a 616 cam im gessing 616 lift?? he might be making that much power if hes got it set up right .. 5.0 heads suck they dont flow worth a$$

it be safe to say hes making 310 ish .. the right tune and if its the right cam he might make 360 but not likely maby at the fly wheel just like that 240 stock is to the fly wheel

ya i asked him to bring it and he always seems to "forget". so i figure he's full of $%!# but i was j/w what he was really putting out

He's not pushing 360 to the ground with untouched stock cast Cobra heads. I'm thinking "616" may be the part number or something, though i've never heard of it - and i'm very familiar with 5-0 products. Besides, a cam like that would offer to much lift for that setup. '94 Cobra's do make 240 @ the fly, and average around 205-210 at the wheels.

yeah 94 cobras are garbage. with those mods he'll be lucky to be puttin down 260 to the ground. race him and you can tell him that you have 500hp! hahahaha
