Alright, I'm setting a goal for my car. I want to run mid-12s on street tires, and maybe low-12/high-11 on the bottle.

What would it take to run mid-12s on street tires without a large stall? I want to keep the streetability of the car, so no large, loppy, non-vacuum cam ;) . Right now, all I have is a Moroso CAI, 1LE elbow, Borla cat-back, Prothane tranny mount, Spohn LCA.

I know I'm going to have to get a cam, LT's, rr's, better gears, mail tune, and better tires [the stock Eagle RS-A's aren't going to cut it :p].

I know that the LE1 package would easily get me there, but what else would I need to buy in order to use the LE1 package?

Now, the LT4 conversion kit. I know this thing has been beaten to death more then a million times before. I know the LE1 would blow it away, but I just have one question about the conversion. Would it be enough to run mid-12s?

Get a custom grind cam for your application, it can be loud lopey and still very streatable, they cost just as much as an off the shelf model. Don't go mail tune. get it dynoed for a little more. Gears, LT's, LCA's and a panhard rod. should be in the 11's without a problem

Mid 12's sounds about right for the LT4 conversion. I have a friend who did it also. When I find his website I'll link you to it. It has all his mods and all on it.

I have run 13.1@111mph on street tires. Still got to do intake, ported t/b and new catback. I will be in high 12's on street tires.

You have an LS1. What you've done to get your times has no relevance to this thread.

Pictured on the right next to my car, it has the LT4 Engine, 10.8:1 balanced and blueprinted. Guy has done roller rockers and left the rest of the suspension/exhaust package alone. He is in the high 11s on Drag Radials
