someone told me that some ls1 camaros and TA's come from the factory with corvette servos already installed. Is this true and if so how can i tell? are there any codes on the inner door sticker or in the vin that could tell me. i have just the standard trans am

All LS1 F-bodys with 4l60-e come with the vette servo.

I would not go to the superior , Though we do use them in our builds we also use and aftermarket band with heavy duty lug and pin area. With the stock band I have seen these cause the band to tear through the pin area. One upgrade you might consider just to stick in there would be the sonnax super hold second servo , Its patterned after the corvette and I think gives about 11 percent more apply area.

The vette servo is second servo, same part as the sonnax, but the sonnax has more clamping force which would be a good choice, you would install the same as the vette servo (from outside). If I were you I would look into gettin a shift kit installed.
