I found a 4l60e from an 04 GTO. Will it work in my 02 WS6 Trans am? Thanks!

Yes it will you will need to change the tail housing the the linkage rod coming through the side of the case.

x2...transmissions along with engines very rarely change. any 4l60e will fit in any car that was designed to hold a 4l603..but way to be smart and ask first...it would suck to have a tranny and the shit doesnt fit :nilly:

How hard is the linkage to change? Do I need to buy anything or will the parts off my tranny work? thanks

You can use you linkage from your old trans you will need a pan gasket , Of course you should be changing the filter anyway
