Do I need an aftermarket panhard bar?

I have a 99 Z28 - 6 speed. I'm looking to do some suspension mods. As far as power, the car has a few bolt-ons, but will prolly never see 400hp or more. The car is daily driven...with a visit to the track once in awhile. I am planning on diamond sfc's (weld in), tubular lca's, and possibly a panhard bar. I would like alittle more traction. I do not need any adjustable units and I have no plans to lower the car or change the tire height. Do I need a panhard bar? Will it make a noticeable difference?

Also, do the polyurethane bushings need to be greased often? I didn't think so, but most come with grease fittings.

I would just get a non-adjustable bar since you're not going to lower the car. For $100or so, why not.

What about a 1LE panhard bar? I noticed SLP has them for $30 and it says they come with hard durometer bushings.

The 1LE is the stock bar with harder bushings, that's all.

I have the SLP reinforced panhard bar that comes with poly bushings and it works well.

Yes go ahead and get it. As stated above for less than a $100 why not strudy up the rear end even more? The stock one is a piece of shit. It will help keep yor rear centered and you will notice the car stays tighter in the rear going around turns and twisties.
