Tire wear on edges at 36psi... WTF???

As you can see, I don't know what's causing BOTH edges of EACH front tire to continue to wear with the middle being okay. It all started with a 40 min mad blast from Blairsville, GA to Cleveland, TN(anyone who lives in the GA/TN/NC area knows it) to pick up something at the FedEx hub before it closed. Stopped at the first air line I could and put in 32 psi. Sometime later, still wearing on the edges. I put 36 psi in(the tires go up to 44, so I don't worry bout overinflating them yet). A few weeks later, they're STILL wearing on BOTH edges of the front tires! Could an out-of-line front end cause this??? I'd think it would only cause ONE edge to wear, not both.

To add to the confusion, the rears are at 24 psi, and wear perfectly. Surely, the car isn't that nose-heavy, is it???

sounds like you have a SERIOUS allignment issue, my freind...if anything your 2 front tires look like this: \ /

That's what I thought at first, but then that would only wear here--> \ / <-- and not here -->\<-- -->/<--

Does that make sense at all???

To much air, try 30 psi front 28 psi rear. That's what i run on my 285's

too much would wear the middle. i'd check your sidewalls for inflation info, then get it aligned, and if that didn't do anything, just pump it up til the don't do it anymore

Alignment most definately. It will cost you but it will fix the problem.

I looked today, and it's wearing considerably on the outer edge of the tires, so... yep, need an alignment. Thanks, y'all.
