need help

just put a new clutch in my ss camaro and now its a bitch to go in 3rd. someone told me i could adjust my shifter and it would go in better if anyone knows what to do let me know.

The other gears work fine - reverse etc.?

Stock shifter?

Have you thoroughly and correctly bled the system?

If so; I would try this as a first step: Loosen the bolts so the cover just moves, put it in neutral so the shifter moves smoothly across the neutral position, gently put it in third, tighten the bolts.

how do you bleed the clutch every gear but 3rd works great and it does have a stock shifter

third sucks in my car new clutch about a year ago i think its my sync
and i cant down shift from 6th to 5th thats sucks

i tried to loosen up the shifter and put it in 3rd and it still dont do anything so its prob the sync

If you didn't have the problem before the new clutch, the synch didn't go bad over night.

Do a search on bleeding the clutch - preferrably with the Mity Vac method. Let us know how you make out.
