Slight slapping/farting noise coming from the front/left side of the car, which sounds unmistakeably like an exhaust leak. The noise ONLY occurs when the gas is pressed. The harder it's pressed, the louder the noise. It does not make the noise in neutral or park or when revved, only while driving.

A4 Tranny.
Has anyone else experienced this sound?
If not, what symptoms was your A4 making before it took a shit?
Already went by the muffler shop, it is not a leak... or so they say.

Thanks for the input guys!

Correction, it does make the sound when revved in park or neutral.

i dunno, i had a small and i mean small gasket leak just after my long tubes and i had the same noice. i put in a new gasket and it was fine. i would check it again, what type of headers, exhaust pipes do you have? is it all welded? bolt, or clamps?

Jet Hot Coated Hooker Long Tubes with Stage 8 locking nuts/washers.
Everything is welded and brand new.

After the past couple days, I have been thinking the same thing as you.
I know "new" doesn't matter when it comes to gaskets though...

I really appreciate your input though and I think thats the 1st thing I will change just to trouble shoot!

Thanks!
