i just got a 00 z-28 in oct. i've been cruzing town w/ no takers. but! friday me and the wife went to eat and do some shopping an i seen a mustang gt ahead. so i ease up to him and drop a gear. he looks over gives a rev and nothing! the punk would not make a move.:brick: i guess hes ran into a z before and just knows better. so we decided to go see a movie. after the movie on the way home i see a 94 or so z coming up on me. he slows and gives a little launch and cruzes past. i follow him though town finnaly we hit a light together! the wife takes hold as the light changes. we both come off slow waiting for the other to move, when we get to around 1500 he hits it. i roll into mine and we hit 2nd together. we're now side by side and i spin hard (dam gs-c's) when i hit 3rd i've pulled him back to my rear tire, half though third we shut em down for the light coming up. we cruz though the light and i look over and wave nice race!:) and see its a guy i meet a few years back. he said it wasn't his cars but his girls daily driver w/a few bolt ons. his was at the house getting a 396! it would be around in a few weeks. he waves and said we'll have to run again when he's is up and runnig. so hopfully i can report back soon on a 00 z vs. a 95 396! see ya brandon
