I know that I am beating this subject like a dead horse, but i still need everyones help. Here is the story, in May of 2007 I was driving my Trans Am and the transmission went out. So I took it to a reputable ( so I thought) transmission shop here in town and had them look at it. They called me back and said that the 3rd and 4th clutch pac in the transmission had seized up!?!? So they installed a new "9 clutch pac" and a shift kit for firmer shifts. To make a long story short, when I am at wide open throttle, in the higher gears it bounces off of the rev limiter and doesn’t want to shift, unless I let off of it and get back on it. I also noticed today that if i am cruising at about 30- 40 mph, and get on it at WOT that it will shift like normal. Why would it do it shift fine then and not from a stand still to WOT???? I took it back to the transmission shop and they insisted that I would need to get a tune to fix it. So that is where you come in.
