I also posted this question in the Firebird section, but haven't gotten any bites yet. Sorry if the double-post is against forum decorum.

It is my understanding that 4th gen Firebirds use a squarish button for the power mirrors, whereas the Camaros use a joystick. Is this true, and if so, was it true all the way from '93-02?

Also, are the connections/wiring the same for both types of switch?

Yes. Also yes, unless somebody knows something I don't.

Nope unfortunatly. The T/A and Firebird have a much larger connection than the Camaro one. I did the T/A door swap mod and have been trying to track down some of the T/A door wiring to get that switch to work with my 99 Camaro. I'm about ready to hit the junkyard again just for some wire :(.
