I would say that you all ready need them at the track now !!! So, I recommend the M/T Drag Radials at the track. I ran a TCI 3600 locker for a while, and it was very street friendly. I now have a 4600 in it with a 4.10 moser / spool rear !!!

get nitto 555r tires at the very least.
BFG DRs would be better.

I'd for sure go for some decent drag radials.. Ive been running m/t radials on my stock wheels for about a year now and I cant complain.

Agreed, i have the smaller nitto 555r and i manage to pull 1.74 60' at the track. and there price is hard to beat in jegs, i think they are at $139 a piece.

even on the street the nittos work great.

What would some of you guys choose? BFG DR or the Nitto 555R. I've heard people rave about the BFG, but I don't want my DR to last 5k. I hear the nittos last a bit longer. Can I do a few burnouts and still have them last 2 summers? lol

But then I hear the BFG DR sits a lot wider on the rim and i like that look...so idk maybe the nitto does too. I just want it to be sticky when i heat them up, that way i can still screw around and slide into turns and stuff, but when I heat them up I want them to hook. maybe this isn't possible and i'll just get the Nitto..sorry long post

i had nittos and ditched them for bfg.
once you get past 350 rwhp the nittos dont grab all that great on the street.

is there any slippage with bfg with the 379rwhp you have? do you have a stall?

Stay away from the nitto's. I made like three passes on them and now they sit in my garage with no track time in sight. Couldnt get them to hook at all. I like the Mt's.
