Does GM still make the 1LE tranny mount? If so, does anyone have the part number?
Thanks!

I don't know if they still make it, but back in the day I ordered mine through SLP online. Check them out and see if they still make it, I'm sure they do. The only catch is, and I found this out the hard way, is the nut for the mount is a different size. Take the 1LE mount to a hardware store and find a nut that fits for it before you take everything apart and find out it doesn't work and have to put the stock mount back on like I had to. :p
BTW, the 1LE mount is the shit.. when I had a 6 speed I noticed the shifter didn't "move" as much under load and you don't have the noise and other problems that the polyurethane mounts have.

Yeah, I used the 1LE mount when I had my 94 Camaro. I was always breaking the stock mount and even tried a Energy Suspension mount but couldn't take the vibaration it caused. The 1LE worked perfectly and was much stronger.

The 1LE mount is not offered anymore by GM, purchase the "Prothane" poly mount, and you will be done with it.

prothane is only hard at first, it softens up a little with time. Its the only way to go imo
