Two duel or not to duel

I've got a 2000 Z28, only mods are the freebies... I am researching things before i jump into the pit and start my upgrading.

My question is, how many more ponies will i get if I go with a true dual system over a beefy y-pipe and a good flowing exhaust? Is it worth it?

i have not seen many people on here do it so i will say for the money it really not worth it. it seems more about prefference then anything. thanks jeremy

unless your ls1 is putting out some serious horsepowe above(500) at the wheels you dont need true duals and will in fact loose hp, a good flowing mandrel bent y pipe with a good catback will give you more. just not enough enxaust being made from the stock ls1 to use a true dual set up, no back pressure whatsoever

Don't go with true duals. Go with a good set of headers, y-pipe, and a good catback.
