i ran into this guy where i work and he said he has some drilled and slotted rotors w/some 6 piston calipers. he said he has a ws6 and they wont fit with his stock rims. i have a ws6 with some 18'' 06 zo6 rims on it. he said they will fit behind my rims cause they are bigger and have more clearance. is he full of shit, do u guys think they will fit? he's selling them for 200$!!, in the box brand new never used!!

They crack and you have less contact from the pad on the rotor.

Slotted isn't as bad, but drilled rotors crack.
If you road race or AutoX...I can see slotted rotors. If not, OEM style.
I run stock brakes on my car. Stops fine.

ok guys i just got the rotors and calipers and they are not 6 piston, they are 4 piston brembo's!!!!!:rockon: and the calipers are huge. the guy had all the hardware to go with them. i had no idea they were brembo's, as soom as i saw them i had to keep myself from drooling. i will post pics in a bit if i can.

are they stolen? Brake kit like that would run a few G's. May as well snatch it up.

thanks tonic, and yes mr.luos they stop very nice. the pedal is really sesitive, i know i dont even need that much stopping power, and i probably will never use it to its full capabilities but it's a nice appearance mod as well.

All you need is a half inch clearance on either side to fit a 17inch. And personally, I think I can see a half an inch. That guy could have got them to fit.

i know i have been trying to get this lowering kit from intrax but its on backorder for 2 months:brick:. it is a 2 inch drop in the front, and a 1.8 in the the back. i might have to go with the eibach prokit. the only thing is i dont know whethere it will make a big difference, its only a 1.2 inch drop i think?
does anyone have the eibach with 18''s on the car????

Eibach pro kit will make a huge difference!
I have it on my car and any lower would be too low.

Its only a 1.3" drop I believe, but afterwards you would swear its lowered 3"+ just by looking at it.
