I used it a few years ago and yes it is real good. Make sure you use the pre-treatment to get the old waxes off, then apply the LG in the shade and let it bake in the sun after you take it off. I really liked the shine, and actually had a GM rep ask me if it was freshly painted when he saw the car from about 30 ft away.:yup:

Also I would apply a few coats, 2-3 adds to the shine. I think they actually recommend a few coats. Then again, that's prob so you'll use it up quicker:lmao:

Hmm, might have to try to find some to try it. How much is it selling for?

Around here pre-treatment and LG go for around $30-$35 total. LQ itself is around $20-$22. As stated above though it is a polish, not a wax

i heard it was tough to get off though... but how often would you need to remove it anyways? the LG bottle was $17.99 at pepboys here and the precleaner was $7.99

So do you have to apply a wax after the LG?

I've used LG for years. My Dad got hooked on it in '86 when he bought his IROC, that I ended up buying from him. I sold the IROC last Mar after I bought my Z. I'll post a few pics of it a few months before I sold it. Other than the top of the driver's door that is all original paint. Nothing but LG was ever used on it.
I used it on my black S-10 while I was in Guam. Beating tropical sun, rain every day, salt in the air, the finish was great. I use it on my black Z28 and my black Impala. Finish is always good. LG does a great job of protecting the paint, as well as cleaning minor crap off of it. While I was in Guam with the S-10 even if I couldn't get a coat of Glass on it for a few weeks it would still bead nicely in the rain. I think the longest was about 2 months and it still would bead up like I'd just Glassed it the day before. I know people there with me used about every other kind of wax or polish there is (except Zaino) and nobody's held up like the Glass.

LG isn't bad, shines pretty nice. However I am a nut and machine glaze periodically and constantly wax my car. Meguiars 21 (Sealant) works nice too. Friends work at detail shop, so I'm hooked up with all kinds of good stuff.
