id really like to get into road racing but i cant seem to find any tracks around that have open track days, everybody says: yea man go to sebring they have open track all the time.... which is garbage because they dont....ever so does any one know of any tracks somewhat close to tampa area that has open track days? i also wouldnt mind autocrossing either, but i cant seem to find any info on the internet about it, help pleeeeease.

might also be interested in looking into scca website... you'll find local club and locations on their website.
there is frrax too.

I've done many events with PCA and BMCCA and, while it's not racing, it is high speed track driving, which is probably what you're looking for at this point anyway.
For side-by-side road course racing, look into SCCA and NASA, both of which offer plenty of amateur racing opportunities.
And if you have ambitions to ever go pro, start with go karts. Believe me, a shifter kart will get you around a road course faster than anything with doors on it.
