new charger?

i was on the highway this morning and a new charger r/t with hemi badge wanted to play. i was already doing 80 and didnt take him serious. but he made a move and i dropped to 5th. he was still there so down to 4th before i pulled on him then back to 5th i let off at 120 he wasnt too far behing, probably because i didnt take him serious to begin with. anybody run one? should i take it serious off the line?

I ran a 300 C on the hwy....He punched it,I dropped into 3rd.....pulled away from it run up the rpm range in 4th....120mph into 5th and he was a small spec.

I test drove a charger R/T the other night for the hell of it....Punched it doing about 30mph....It pulled pretty good...felt like the rear lifted up instead of the normal front rising up.(I don't know something felt different)...I think in the long run I would get tiered of it...wasn't fun to drive....needs a manual transmission....feels big and heavy.
A 02 ws6 should take it with no problem.

I like when you go into test drive a car and the homeboy,that works cleaning the car leaves the seat laid all the way back.....I told the salesmen i did'nt see the custom ghetto seats on the window sticked.....If i managed a car lot i would make sure, whoerver,put the seats in the up right position or fire the smacked ass.

The 425 hp srt 8 would have given you a little more of a run. They're still 4,000 lb's though. I wonder if dodge will make a lighter version of the charger for this motor?

No wonder you weren't impressed - look at your mods. They run high 13's and srt8's are in the low 13-high 12. They're pretty quick and will hang with sportier cars.

when he said it felt weird cuz the back lifted its probly cuz of the independent suspension where our cars are solid axle.
